Yes, that board supports Crossfire, but the performance you will get on it will not be very good. Crossfire performance is significantly bottlenecked when the secondary adapter has to run at x4 PCIe lanes. An x8/x8 split will do the job a lot better.

***EDIT - AM3 is not in fact backwards compatible, I had my facts mixed up. You'll need an AM2+ motherboard if your roomy wants to use the AM2+ CPU. A motherboard with a real AM3 socket will only take AM3 CPUs.

    2nd Edit for posterity: inb4 ardichoke. ;D

That board supposedly supports Hybrid Crossfire, but performance will likely not be very good as the 2nd PCI-e "x16" slot only runs at x4.

AM3 has the same pin layout as AM2+ but uses DDR3 instead of DDR2 memory. If your processor doesn't support AM3, it will not work in an AM3 socket. (However if the processor is an AM3 processor, it should work in an AM2+ socket. Confusing, I know)

If you're looking for an AM2+ Crossfire board, I would strongly recommend this one.

    +1 recommendation, that's a solid AM2+ board right there.
