Final Fantasy XIII platform differences explained

    I think that Playstation earned their keep by harboring the Final Fantasy in the post-SNES days. It almost seemed like they felt by Nintendo, who eschewed optical media for cartridges - thus the Playstation was born. And if my memory serves correct, Sony's bailed Square out at least once (I'm recollecting the great loss of Final Fantasy: Spirits Within).

    Long story short: Final Fantasy belongs on the Playstation. I don't mind in the least that the 360 gets a version as well, but I for one will be enjoying it on the PS3.

    I'm sure it'll be a stunning game regardless of the version as compressed audio and cgi doesn't equal bad. It's like saying dvd qualtiy looks bad comapred to blue ray. It still looks good it's just not as good to snob standards. Flipping a disk mid game who cares.

    well its clear that this is just wat weve known all along the xbox sux lol 720p no blue-ray smaller discs expensive online svc PS3 is just better and this is proof

    Thrax - how much effort did that take? It couldn't be easy... unless you copypasta'd from our fanboi thread.

    I agree that Final Fantasy belongs on the Playstation. That is certainly where I would buy it if I had the choice. Plus, I am an a/v snob, which is why I game on the PC.

    Ho hum, I thought this be on PC too! And was there supposed to be linkage to said review or was this just a magazine only thing?

    EDIT:/// NOOOO! I just googled the answer... damn them for not making it for PC as well. I don't wanna buy it for XBOX or PS3.

    There was a rumor about a PC version a while back after an announcement that it was being developed on a PC. It was debunked several days later.

    I am almost considering picking it up for xbox then I am also considering buying a pS3 so i might wait
