I think they just want to add some fuel & fire on Nvidia to push out some parts. Nvidia is already late with their new cards but in all honesty they are truly floating around. People have them & are testing them. It is just a matter of time before we get to see who gets the exclusive.
Outside of that, if these benchmarks have any truth to them than ATI is about to be in a world of hurt once again. I say this as... Nvidia might have a single core that slaps ATI's dual GPU in the face. That alone (IF TRUE) will be amazing to see.
Lets see how price falls in place & if these benchmarks are truly valid.

Price is going to be a huge factor either way. I hope they are competitive, driving down the price for DX11 hardware across the board.
I still find it annoying that Guru of 3D acknowledges getting the slide but wont do anything to back the source. At minimum they could get a "no comment" from NVIDIA to at least say they cared to try.
IF Nvidia makes a GPU that is better than the 5870 / 5970, which I think is unlikely, it'll most likely be priced way higher, and therefore most people will stick with the ATI. I've been using ATI GPUs for years and don't plan to change.
You also use IE6 and don't plan to change Tim. No matter the price point, there's some people that are always going to buy the best performing hardware.

Thats how that article opens. Guru of 3D, its something called, checking your source... try it out.

Also Nvidia's new cards are not DX11 chips... unless something has changed?
Hilbert doesn't think they are real and unless nV have found a way to bend the laws of physics, neither do I.
