It still feels too late for Palm to get into the major smartphone game, but I'm sure a lot of people will be purchasing it who like the form factor but are not fans of Blackberry's OS. I like the OS, but I'm not sure this is a good thing as I'd like to see more users/Application support from Android.
I'm actually beginning to hope this Nexus One is marketed heavily on TV by Google. Android really needs the kind of marketing presence that the iPhone has to get significant marketshare. The OS is a breeze to use, but I seriously doubt that many people even know it exists. Most people don't even know that the "Droid" is running Android, they just know of the Droid itself as a brand from the commercials.
