How long does it take for them to get their servers taken care of I mean Come on! I bought torchlight ( second Copy ) earlier today. I saved my game file and uninstalled it on this PC and installed that game ( and used the key from Runic ) to install it on my brother in laws pc as a gift. I bought it on steam and its been 10 hrs and they still say their servers are too busy to Download the game but Alas! I downloaded TF2 and L4D so whats the deal?

In those 10 hours, have you tried restarting the Steam client itself? I've noticed sometimes it wigs out after you buy a new game and tells you the servers are too busy when really they're not. Restarting the client generally fixes it.

It's possible that whatever content server distributes Torchlight is simply flooded, then. I imagine quite a lot of people have been grabbing it during the 50% off sale.

As a last-ditch, you could also try closing the Steam client, deleting clientregistry.blob from the Steam folder, and restarting it. I don't see why this would help (all it does is force Steam to rescan your games), but you never know.

Well what did you bother asking here for then? lol.

If you already took reasonable steps to try and figure it out on your end, we're not gonna be able to tell you anything more. (unless someone here at Icrontic is a Steam admin?)

Well, you never know, but I find when it comes right down to it, the Steam client is actually a pretty stable piece of software. I have very few (if any) problems with it that qualify as strange. All I can say is, keep trying... as it gets later in the evening, load on the content servers may drop.

Fixed, I went to the tools tab and Downloaded the Torchlight Editor, and then Downloaded the Game, Its odd because I couldn't get it to Dl at all until I Downloaded the editor!

When this happens, I usually switch my download server to one from another country. Just last night I download Red Faction from Finland. To change it, go to your steam window, settings, downloads.
It will probably take a lot longer but it's better than sitting there with your thumb up your ass.
