    Welp... the unsubsidized price tag means I won't be buying it on day 1. I will be picking one up as soon as I get my taxes back though.

    Lame that they make you buy the expensive plan. I have the one without the unlimited text for $10 cheaper for my G1.

    You do. Gargoyle is referring to the data portion of the plan which you can get for 10$ less if you don't get unlimited text (35/mo for unlimited text and data, 25/mo for unlimited data only). Technically I have the same thing, but then added unlimited text for all lines (my sister burns though about 5000 text messages a month). Really though, having the unlimited text is a good idea since the built in messenger uses text messages.

    I send and receive less than 100 messages a month, so the 300 they include on my plan works out well :D
