Black Dynamite at ICNY - Gauging interest

So, I don't know if anyone has heard about this movie or not, but if not, enlighten yourselves:

Okay, now that you've seen the trailer and are all like "Holy crap that looks awesome," let's talk about seeing it.

Anybody game for tonite? I don't know if this movie will ever see a wide release, so it might be your only chance to see it before it hits DVD in a few months.

So who's down for maybe an 8pm show? We would get to check out Downtown Detroit's newest independent movie theater, the Burton Cinema:

    I was really hoping for the sort of enthusiasm going on in one of my other favorite forums.

    Mostly nobody has looked at IC yet - everyone woke up and went to breakfast. But I'm sure you'll have some people in.

    The movie looks fucking awesome, BTW.

    Shit. I'd been planning to see this movie since the day it was announced. It wasn't playing in the state when the movie debuted in October, so I wrote it off for MI and vowed to wait for the "DVD" release.

    This is the movie I wanted to see most this year. :(

    But seriously Rob, the movie's playing all this week - We should find time to catch a show and drag some people to see it, holiday weekend or not.

    I will totally wait till you guys get back, I don't know if it'll still be in theaters but if not I want to watch it with ya'll first moment it hits DVD.
