Worm Win32 netsky Virus Troubles

Last night my computer acquired the worm win32 netsky virus which lead to various pop ups and warnings about fake trojans and other viruses. I left the computer on over night while it did a virus scan and looked this morning to see that no viruses had been found. The screen had changed to green with black text in the middle saying my computer was infected blah blah blah. After rebooting the computer a windows box popped up explaining that my computer had been infected with win32 netsky. Since then i have tried many times to reboot and it will log in however there are no toolbars, no buttons just a blank background. Ive tried ctrl alt delete and it acts like its loading something however nothing pops up. If i go into safe mode, the computer will reboot and return to the screen where you choose safe mode from. (im on a different computer right now)

Im not sure what to do at this point and any help would be great.

    I have exactly the same problem... have tried loads of "solutions" from different forums but none have worked!
