Update SBS 03 for OWA in Vista/7

Have a user who can't compose or reply to emails in OWA from her Vista machine at home. Well known issue - MS had to kill DHTML Editing ActiveX control in Vista.

Before I can install the hotfix (KB 911829) I have to install SP2 in Exchange (SBS already has SP2). I'm very aware that the SBS 2003 is pretty quirky about what service packs get installed in what order. So I have to do SP1, then SP2 for Exchange.

Anyone had any drama with this on SBS 2003? I can't devote a day or two sorting this out after a service pack drama.

The only time I had an issue was that after upgrading an exchange service pack our BES through a fit and I had to start rebooting service in a specific order AD, EXCHANGE, BES. Then the BES still wasn't happy so I had to go back in and redue the connectors between it and exchange and all was right with the world.

That's the only time I've had a problem with patching exchange. But my case may be different as it's exchange 2k3 but it's running on windows 2k8. But I would suggest as long as you patch in order and reboot in between then do all the other incremental patches you should be ok if everything else is working fine.
