Laptop Screen Issue
Due to unfortunate circumstances surrounding the cracking of my lcd screen on my laptop, I ordered another screen to replace it. The screen fits and works well, however, I need some sort of ribbon cable extension to reach the connection. In it's current state, the lcd cable is too short. The original screen model is an LG LP173WD1. It has a connection on the left hand side of the screen. The new screen is a Samsung LTN173KT01, but the connection is on the right hand side. The are both designed for ASUS N70SV laptops, but different suffix designations (A1, X1, etc). Mine is an X1.
Like I said, I can make it work I could find some sort of extension. If not, I'll have to foot the bill of shipping to and from the dealer I bought the screen from, as well as the restocking fee. Anyone know if such a cable exists?
