I would LOVE to try it out but can not dedicate the time this weekend. Possibly next. Do the guest passes allow you to choose your temporary time block or does it start from when it is sent?
Anyone have any guest passes left? Now that I've upgraded my desktop I MIGHT actually be able to play the game. Don't want to buy it though if it's going to run like crap.
Ardi, I'm running it on a HD5770 and it's the only game so far that this card doesn't do spectacularly. It's fun but I've got all the graphics settings on the lowest and I keep going back in forth between 1920x1280 and the next size down to keep frame-rates manageable. It's still very playable, but not as pretty as I'd hoped it would be. I would definitely suggest giving it a try before buying it.

I'd say if there is one thing that I might suggest in terms of balancing image quality to performance in this game, I think hitting an average of over 30 FPS is fine for this title. You don't need to hit monitors refresh, nothing really moves that fast, its not a twitch based game, so if you can optimize to run at something over 30 FPS you should be fine.
I max everything on the 5870, and I get around 50 FPS, and I was obsessing about getting that little bit extra out of it to bump it to 60, so I scaled back a little bit, drooped some res and a couple settings, and I found that the frame-rate did not assist me as much as the improved visual quality did. To be able to see more clearly, survey the battlefield is more valuable than the FPS performance in this title.
^if you have a fast switch dpi mouse it helps to have a high level dpi switch for when you EMPed and you need to spin in place. Other than that its not really that fast twitch.
I guess I should point out that I play at 1680x1050. The title runs like silk at max settings on this resolution with my GTX 275.
And I'm betting your probably hitting around 40 FPS? Once your there on this title its solid, its not like playing Unreal or Quake where you really need to be matching your monitors refresh to be competitive.

(Guest pass isn't a free license, it's temporary access to try the game).
Sent. And I'm out.

I would hold off on that; get a guest pass first. PM me if you need one.
I get great fps with a gx2 not in sli, everything is on low settings but 2048x1150ish.
