BioShock 2 Pre-Sale Group Buys

If anyone is interested in getting in on a group pre-buy, the 4 pack is on sale for $134.97 on Steam. This works similarly to the L4D2 group buy. One person buys and the others pre-pay. Once all have pre-paid, the purchase is made and the buyer gifts the copies to the others.

Also of note, each pre-order comes with a free copy of the original BioShock. A 4-pack has 4 copies.

I'm willing to make a purchase if anyone else is interested.

    If you had asked me a week ago I would have signed up but alas I've already paid in full for my copy. I'll look forward to splicing up with any and all that purchase the game however.

    Somthing I've read that I thought was clever:

    Is a man not entitled to game that he paid for?
    No, says SecuRom, it belongs to the publisher.
    No, says Steam, it belongs to the internet.
    No, says Live, it belongs to everyone.

    I do hope they remove SecuRom from the Steam release - GFWL is something everyone will just have to put up with though.

    To clarify what NiGHTS means, if you don't know, BioShock 2 requires you to have a Games for Windows Live account, and requires the use of SecuRom, even through Steam at the moment.

    And to clarify my position here in this thread, i'm not in, as I have neither computer, money, nor experience with the first BioShock (but I do hope to get my hands on BioShock 1 once I have a working computer again!)

    The game is now released for download on Steam. If you still show "BioShock 2 Pre-order" in your games list, you'll need to exit Steam and restart it. Once that's done you can begin your download.
