Compatibility of Office 10 Beta

Hi
Has anyone else encountered problems of inconpatibility between Office 10 Beta documents and Office 2007, or 2003.
I have docx created in Office 10 that I can't open in Office 2003. This is working between home and Uni. and there's potentially a helluva lot of work at home been wasted if I can't sort this.
Any help would be appreciated.
The precise error message is; "[File name] can't be opened because there are problems with the contents".

    Office 2003 can't open native Office 2007+ files that have the .___x extension. However there is a free compatibility back you can download from microsoft that will allow office 2003 to open them.

    Thanks for the help. I think my problem has been to do with the fact that the document concerned contained figures created in Excel which I had edited in Office 2010.
