    I hear those SandForce controllers use black magic and unicorn farts to compress the data. Is it true that it uses wild RAID hackery and science?

    Rumor has it that SandForce controllers replace all the cache with trinary quantum pockets in the 9th dimension, use 421-stripe I/O and run the controller at 4.6GHz to perform 96:1 compression. They're also made of diamond and stardust.
