Please guide me to a place where i can find out how to network both of my computers so that the files on one computer can be accessed from the other computer.

One computer has winxp pro and one has winme.
i have the dlink 604 4 port router.

    This an easy one :)

Right click on whatever folder and click on Sharing and Security (You can do C:\ drive, though I don't recommend it. I have a folder for specific shared files instead of having my entire system open, and I suggest the same for you). You should need to click a hyperlink. If it asks to turn on the firewall or whatever, just say "No. Just enable Filesharing". Click the "Share this Folder" radio button, fill out the details to your liking, and the ME box should be able to see the XP share. It's going to be similar on the ME box, so you shouldn't have much trouble.
