I will reserve judgement until I see the add (yes, bad pun intended), but I don't know if EA could have spent 3 million any worse.

EA's marketing on Dante's Inferno has been fricken' brilliant so far (though I don't exactly agree with all of it), I expect it will be really good. Not that I watch the superbowl...

I've heard the game isn't incredible though. Too derivative of God of War with nothing but shock value. I'd still like to try it though, it's such interesting source material.

Part of me wants to cry, and part wants to cheer.

    Is this a normal response?

Encouraging a convention full of nerds that have never been kissed to go out and commit their first lustful act is never a good idea. I'm just sayin...

Thrax, ^this, it's one thing to even have them do it to their own booth babes, but to encourage people to commit acts of lust to any booth babe at the convention seems irresponsible. It's a pretty minor nitpick and it certainly got people talking, so in that sense it was damn fine marketing.

I love how CBS initially rejected the ad because of the tagline, "Go to Hell" at the end. They approved a revised ad that simply states, "Hell Awaits."
