LOAD NEEDED FOR DLLS KERNEL

Hi

i need some help ASAP!!!!:confused2

i have a dell latitude laptop withOUT a cd drive and i recently had a virus on it which i got rid of. Now when i start the laptop it comes up with the following message:

Windows could not start because of an error in the software
please report this problem as:
load needed DLLs for kerne
please contact your support person to report this problem

I now nothing about how comupters work but i just need my laptop to work. Is there anyone that can help me pleeeeeeeeeeease??

    You should have a protected restore partition on that drive. You can use that to recover your computer. Boot up the computer hitting the blue ibm button and that takes you into the recovery options. You can do a recovery install and specify which directories you want to keep as part of the re-installation. That should repair your computer to a bootable state.

    Then I suggest the first thing you do is get an Anti-Virus program, personally I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials it's free and works well.
