OLED Displays

I'm looking at getting a new laptop sometime soon and had hoped that OLED would already be in use on laptops for a few reasons (silver blacks, response times, battery, etc) but it seems it isn't out on even a single laptop yet, although it is present on a few random mobile devices, like the new Zune for example.

Does anyone have any idea of when we're likely to see this emerge on sub £1000 laptops? It's a shame that it's taking so long to catch on. The colour vibrance and contrast (moreso the contrast...) make it something that I don't really want to buy another laptop without.

The screen on my Asus F3JP is better than my old Sager 5660 but it's still not very good for games or images that are mainly dark due to the whole "black is silver and hard to see" issue.

It'll be a few years before you see OLED displays on notebooks, much less sub-$1000 notebooks. Nobody makes them but Samsung, and not larger than about 8".
