Did this update on Friday night and saw an instantaneous improvement in battery life and overall responsiveness. Though I didn't share all of the complaints that others had about keyboard lag and such, there was a noticeable difference in overall 'snappiness' in the interface and other operations.
Running CJ04 (original release), I would see the battery meter take its first hit within 30-60 min of pulling off the charger with little to no usage (typically my commute to work). Now, I get a solid 2 hours or so before the meter moves in the slightest. (Just checked, and I've been running for 3.5 hours, and the battery meter hasn't moved)
Before, I would have to charge about halfway through the day under normal usage just so I could make the commute home without dying. Now I don't have to plug in at all, and I'm still green by the time I get home.
Overall, a great update, and a good interim while I wait for the 2.1 update.
