SC2 review online

I was online today, and I saw a review and a sample video of Starcraft 2.

I spent a little time playing C&C Generals in Zero Hour, and my question is, what's the difference between these 2 games? SC2 may have better graphics, but it's the same general concept, apparently. Build and defend your base, or build weapons and go attack the other guy.

This is what we've been waiting years for?

You could say that about most RTS games. It comes down to the polish that Blizzard is capable of putting on their games. Especially Starcraft.

The balance of the original is pretty much perfect. This is why it's still heavily played today and used in many tournaments. From what I'm seeing, they kind of went with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality with SC2.

I haven't had an opportunity to play, but I look forward to giving it a shot when it's released.

Yea, that's pretty much a basic description of every RTS ever made.

Of course they are. I mean what's all this hype about IE7 or IE8? IE6 is perfectly fine for everything!
