I'm going to keep adding to this thread as I find shit to sell.

We're cleaning up the Yellow Room. As you may know (if you've been to ICHQ), the Yellow Room is a clearinghouse for old computer parts.

Most of the stuff is getting scrapped. I'll yank a few choice parts that may still be useful and list them here.

All prices include shipping to normal places. Weird places, we'll talk. If you want to pick up a part during ICSP and you'll be here, take $7 off the price and I'll set it aside for you

Pentium 4 Willamette 1.8ghz socket 423 CPU - $20

NEW IN BOX:

3Ware 8506-4LP 4port SATA RAID controller - $60

This is a HARDWARE raid controller with its own firmware, CPU, cache, and RAM. This is not a cheap "software-on-a-chip" controller!

SATA 1, and it's PCI-X (not to be confused with PCI Express). This is a 64-bit PCI-X card! It looks like this, but it has 4 ports instead of 2:

8006-2LP_large.jpg

Drivers exist for tons of OS configs.

Promise SuperTrak SX6000 6-port IDE RAID controller

This is also a hardware raid controller, with a DIMM slot for upgradeable cache, an Intel i960 cpu on board, and is a full-length PCI (32 bit) card.

The Promise card has a 128mb DIMM in it for cache

$40

Adaptec 2400A 4-port IDE RAID controller

This is very similar to the Promise card, but it has 4 ports, and only 32mb of cache instead of 128mb.

$25

Netgear WG311T 108mb wireless PCI adapter - $15

The antenna is slightly broken. It can be held up with electrical tape, it's not a big deal.

Linksys WMP54GS wireless PCI adapter - $20

(the link is to a slightly newer revision, this one is the original model)

This is a weird one:

SysKonnect SK-9822 GE-T Dual Link network card.

This was a serious mega enterprise card a few years back. This is a dual gigabit ethernet adapter with CPU offload. 64-bit PCI-X card with active cooling.

This thing retails for $395 :wtf:

I'll let it go for $50 shipped

AMD Athlon XP 2100+ Socket A

$10 shipped

Belkin OmniView SOHO 4port PS/2 KVM with USB and audio

This is a very handy thing to have for testbenches.

The only problem with it is that it's VGA, not DVI. Control up to four computers with a single keyboard and mouse. I have TWO cable sets to go with it, I MAY be able to dig up four. This retails new at $149.95, I'll let it go for $50 shipped

Hmm... I might be interested in the 3Ware RAID card if it's still available in a couple weeks time.

I'm trying to put together a decent DOS/Win9x box for Mechwarrior 2/other nefarious purposes. Let me know if you find any of the following in working condition:

MCA (MicroChannel) sound card of any type ****
ISA Creative SoundBlaster AWE32 w/ SIMM slots
    PC100/PC133 256MB non-parity/non-ECC double-sided DIMMs
    3dfx Voodoo 3/4/5
A decent Socket7 board with an Intel i430HX chipset and at least 512KB of cache.
