Only 2 GPU slots, no quad GPU folder here. Unless you use X2 GPUs.

Um read the last two paragraphs of the preview gentlemen. I believe he's covered the intent of the board there.

I'm interested in seeing how they will implement hybrid graphics with this chip-set.

Oooh... the specs on this makes me excited for their UltraDurable 890FX boards. I might have to upgrade my motherboard sooner than I originally intended to.

Bought and installed one yesterday with a Phenom ll 955 Black edition CPU and Windows 7 pro 64 bit. It says it is compatible with Windows 7 but I have hit problems already. The first is that the sata 6 connection refuses to recognise my Samsung F3 1TB hdd so I have to connect to one of the sata 3's which just leaves one left! The second problem is that the Realtek HD audio will not fully play in 5.1 setup. Every speaker produces sound under test but the rear ones are silent in playback mode. I hope these are just driver issues but if they are, it suggests to me that Gigabyte have rushed this out ahead of it's time!!!!!

Also on a board like this, why is there no esata?

It doesn't need eSata. it has two PCI slots. TWO!

Yes I can count as well. However my case has an esata connection but NOWHERE to connect it to!
