Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Epic Game

So just played about 1 1/2 hours into the SP part of BFBC2 & boy oh boy this game is sweet. it does have a few quirks to it overall but the fact this game is taking my hardware to town with its sweet graphics has me in awww. the game is up on Steam for $49.99 and to me it is worth every penny.

Let me know if you have the game and we can get some MP games going. After they fix some of the launch bugs.

    BF2 had more issues than ever on launch. But it seems to all be resolved.

    and by "resolved" you mean the master server is currently down and nobody can play MP, right?

    I've taken a stance on BF games: Don't buy for at least a month after launch due to horrendous levels of bugs.

    I am still shocked. This game is the first to have my hardware pegged at 99% the entire time I play. 4 GPU cores running 100%-99% is intense. MW2 gets close but for some reason the 4th GPU core in MW2 isn't used much.

    honestly I haven't checked... but it runs flawless overall, my guess is over 60FPS on 1980x1200

    i've been playing a lot this weekend. really digging the medic. after i max the medic unlocks out i'm going to play offensive/shotgun recon.

    I play for a few hrs at a stretch untill something puts me off like being the top scorer on the server and having almost 1k points more than the second guy or unbalanced teams, either talent wise or by player count. Game seriously needs auto-balance and a team scramble option.

    I play only rush, so I've never really seen that take place - the maps are smaller and more chaotic which leaves someone little time to completely dominate. That said, if there IS one guy dominating, rarely does it make a difference in this game. I disagree with the scramble option, but agree with autobalancing when teams are 12v20 (which is usually fixed by a quick roundend anyway).

    Wax, you sound like you play the same way I do. I've just finally unlocked the MG3, but haven't used it yet (earning silver stars with everything else first, just finished the MG36). After playing that class so much, coupled with the 'suppression first' role I try to take with SMGs, the 100ct. magazines are a bit of a letdown. I'm on to offensive minded snipers next just like you.

    Forgot to add but my in game nick is Virtues of Evil. Unsurprisingly, Black Hawk was taken since the beta.
