Need Help with Virus and malware removal
Hello,
I would like to say thanks in advance to anyone who helps me. Sometime today I started getting alerts on my computer from a "Antivirus Vista 2010" which I know is a virus of some kind. My computer is also telling me that there is a trojan that is infecting my computer. I would really like to get some help on this as I use this computer to do my school work and work for my job. Thanks again.
Overall I would like to rid my computer of any and all viruses, spyware, and malware.
Thanks,
Andy

I hope your computer is a vista computer
First enable the Hidden Files and Folders
[
Enable the hidden files and folders by
Open My computer--> Click on Tools->Folder Options-->View(tab)-->Click show hidden files and folders
Click OK
If you cant see the tools menu
Hold the Alt key and press T in the keyboard when you are inside the My computer window
Else Start-->Inside the start serach box type Run
You can also open run by holding Windows key and R key
Inside the run box type "control folders" without quotes and hit OK.
You will get the Folder options dialog box
Then Folder Options-->View(tab)-->Click show hidden files and folders
Click OK
Else Go to control panel you can find Folder options
Then Folder Options-->View(tab)-->Click show hidden files and folders
Click OK
]
After that move to the location
c:\Users\%user Profile%\AppData\Local\
%User Profile%- - -> Your User Name in the computer
Inside that Local folder you can see many folders and files
List out the names of the files in the LOcal folder for me.
