reading dbx files

I could not delete emails from Outlook Express due to my Deleted items file being full. I renamed the Delted Items file, OE created a new DI file which allowed me to now delete emails. My problem is now being able to read the old deleted email dbx. files. How can I get these old emails back into OE so I can read them? I can't seem to be able to move them back to OE; I thought I could move the old deleted emails back into a Deleted Items subfolder so I could access them through OE but don't know how to do this. Help.

    Rename the folder "old deleted items.dbx"

    It "should" appear in OE now in the folder list. Make sure OE is not running when you rename.
