What phone are you most looking forward to?

Title says it all, ladies and gents, but I'm curious!

For me, it's undoubtedly the HTC Incredible. Android 2.1, a WVGA AMOLED display, HTC's Sense UI, an optical trackpad, the famed Qualcomm Snapdragon and--most importantly for me--a CDMA radio for Verizon service!

Provided nothing amazing tips up between now and August when my AT&T contract expires, this will be my next phone.

I don't know if it counts as looking forward to it since it's already out, but I can't wait to get my hands on my Nexus One. I played with SenseUI, it was nice but I didn't find it all that compelling. I'm a fan of Home++ lately and can't wait to slap that on the 1GHz bundle of wonderful that FedEx is dropping off tomorrow.

Other than the Droid, are there going to be any Android phones on Verizon with a slide-out keyboard in the next 6-8 months?

There are, at this time, no high-end Android devices with QWERTY scheduled for 2010.

The next blackberry whatever that will be. While the geek in me would love the access to the app store on iphone or android. This will be for business so I'd much rather have the longer battery life, keyboard and real GPS of the blackberry. Plus their next phones will be using full webkit for their browsers finally so that improves them muchly.

That's disappointing. I'm extremely interested in Android, but I can't stand virtual keyboards.

So, to stay on topic, the Desire or the Incredible look like they'd be on my list if going to Android.

I've been looking forward to a Windows Phone 7 Series, but every new bit of news that comes out dashes my hopes just a little more.

I know the board will probably screw up my pretty formatting, but I tried. SQUEEEEEEEEEEE can't wait.

Also worth noting: Sense isn't a required element of any HTC handset. If you go in and remove the defaults for your "home" activity, they still offer you a standard Android home screen (which I found because I was trying out SlideScreen). My point is, if you really like an HTC handset and don't like Sense, don't let that stop you. Let the price and the hardware make the decision, not the software that can be removed. :)

I quite like the look of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 1ghz Snapdraggon proc running Android OS. 8.1MP digital camera.

I ended up getting the Nokia N900 because I couldn't wait and I could get no idea of cost for the X10.

It does have qwerty keyboard +resistive touchscreen, 800MHz Arm8 CPU 256RAM which expands to 1GB program memory with virtual memory. 32GB storage and runs the Maemo linux distribution. It supports multi tasking has its own in build app store with additional apps available at the maemo website. it comes pre installed with flash 9.5 and has full internet access via either 3G or wireless. I have got two email accounts synced + Google calendar. They are all synced direct with the servers at yahoo and google so there is no need to connect it to PC. All in all it is basically a PC that fits in my pocket and I would strongly urge anyone looking at a new smartphone to check this out.
