How Can I Get A PS/2 Mouse To Work With Vista?

edited May 2010 in Science & Tech
I recently upgraded my computer to Windows Vista but my mouse isn't working. USB Mouses will work and the PS/2 mouse I want to use does work on other computers so I know it's good. I've managed to use the keyboard alone to navigate my way around to get here. I tried uninstalling the drivers that were installed and then restarted but then just encountered an error and the drivers didn't get installed properly so I'm stuck with the same issue still. If anyone can help me fix this issue, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!

This keyboard mouse works so so, so far, but it's nothing worth getting used to, so I still await for a miracle to get my old mouse to work.

sounds like you need to get the right motherboard drivers for your system and not an issue with mouse drivers.

Make sure you download the chipset driver and run it first before any other driver...
