    I'd be willing to let the promise of a free MW4 go in favor of an entirely new game. MW4 can be found pretty cheaply on eBay, and Crysis owners have the Living Legends mod to tide them over. I'm really hoping Smith & Tinker can pull off a great game.

    Eh, Harmony Gold fired off a C&D to IGN to pull that trailer back in September. I never did hear what became of it, but odds are their lawyers are going to sue everybody. We'll be lucky to see MW5.

    Sadly MekTek is distributing their new mech pack over their MTX distribution platform which doesn't work on my PC. I suppose I'd have the same problem with free MW4 though. Maybe they patched it, I should check...

    Going by everything that's been revealed about the deal, Smith & Tinker didn't "acquire" the IP, they licensed it. It's still Microsoft's property.
