USB ports not detecting devices

hey i gotta keep this short
my usb ports randomly stop recognizing devices of any kind right now only my mouse is working and I'm not sure how to fix it
i unfortunately don't have the money fora new motherboard and y computer is vital to my employment so plz help

    Can you afford a cheaper solution like a PCI-based USB expander?

    They can be found as cheap as $12

    May be driver or power issue. the ports themselves must be working as your mouse and keyboard work. If it is random it could be power. What are you plugging in and do they have an external power supply?

    my keyboed dusnt work im pluging in a mous + keyboard and cyba snipa 5.1gaming headset im pretty sure they dont have external power suplies
