"Ratebeer's Best" Beer Tasting in Warren
I know this is a little short notice, but I only decided to go a couple days ago and only got my tickets this morning. It helped that last night, I got an email with a list of SOME of the beers that will be at this tasting. BEHOLD:

For reference, I underlined the ones that I have tried. Lot of new stuff for me to check out.
Anyways, I've got my tix, and they're almost sold out, so if you want to join me, it's at Champane's Wine Cellars in Warren, MI, Friday from 6pm to 7:30pm. You can buy tix by calling them at 586-978-9463; it's $25 a head, which is pretty reasonable considering the calibre of brews they're featuring. You can't even buy KBS right now, the Rochefort Trappistes are very limited availability, etc. In short: Hurry up and get tickets if you want to join me!
Hope to see some peeps there!

As for you, Thrax, expand your palate, good sir! I know you love your witbiers but there's more to life than Blue Moon imitators.
Drink the Rogue for me, but know it is pretty dang sweet.
I'm a little worried about how sober I'll be after 15+ samples of beer that START at 6 or 7% ABV and go as high as 12%+, but my wife has offered to rescue me if I'm unable to get behind the wheel. LOL
A+++++
