XP Unable to connect to home wireless network

I noticed this trend with my home based laptops - my vista & Win7 run laptops are able to connect to my home wireless network, but it seem that the laptops running XP SP2&3 are not able to get internet access, though they CAN connect to the WLAN. Is there any hidden setting somewhere that I need to know of?

What encryption are you using? I had similar problems when trying to connect my XP laptop with WPA2.

I'm not sure where to look, but by judging the fact that you've stated 'WPA2', I think I'm running on WPA Personal, TKIP Algorithms with a group key renewal of 3600 seconds.

XP SP3 does not have any problem with WPA2. The problem can only be due to wireless card and/or their wireless drivers. If your wireless router and wifi cards support, I highly recommend WPA2 and AES algorithm for better security and performance.

I had a feeling it had been sorted with SP3.

Doesn't work. Once I switch over to WPA2/AES, every wireless device I have doesn't connect.
