Should I start playing Starcraft?
I was wondering if I should start playing Starcraft. I was thinking of trying SC2 when it comes out, and I thought it'd help if I had some background in the game by trying SC first.
I've played a lot of WoW but got burned out on it and have hardly touched it in the last month. I may or may not go back to it more. Right now I'm playing as much Halo 2 as I can before Microsoft screws up Xbox Live forever by dropping support for the older games.
I played a little Zero Hour a while back, but my version didn't have online multiplayer capability.
If I did, I'd run it on my main PC, but since the system requirements are so low I might try putting it on my old Dell Latitude CPi-A 366XT 366 P2 256 MB XP Home laptop just to see how well it'll work on that 11 year old laptop.

I, personally, find it quite hard but that's because I basically never play RTS games. You can get a double pack with SC + BW in, and it shouldn't cost you a lot, so try to get hold of it.
You can get it as a download (and maybe physical copy) from the Blizzard store, but it's not on Steam.
