To many drop down menus

I recently did a reformat/re install of XP. All went well this time (whew!!)
I just have one annoying problem. Everytime I type in a command in Run, or an address in Explorer, whatever, I get this big drop down history of every other thing typed in.
If the first letter is (example) R, then every "R" I have used shows up.
How do I turn this off? :scratch: I don't want or need any history, of what I am doing on my computer.
Thanks;
Dragstk

    That's always the first thing I enable when setting up Mozilla on a new system. :D

    Makes it easier to get to google if All I have to type is go<enter> or especially when trying to go back to a page I don't visit often.

    Though, one thing I really like is bookmarks with a key that allows an argument.
    Like, a bookmark for dictionary.com with an access key of "dict" and then typing whatever word I want to look up searches for that word. Quite handy.

    I actually like the feature as well, but if you want to turn it off:

    Go into Internet Options (either from the CP or from the (Tools) menu in IE). On the first tab, you should see the history options at the bottom. Change the number of days to '0', then click clear. it will no longer keep a history of visited pages.

    Then go to the advanced tab, and find the (Use inline auto complete) radio-box. Turn it off. Now it wont remember the things that you type into fields on webpages you visit either.

    There, now no one else who uses the computer can see what pron sites you frequent :hiding: (unless they're really good).

    As far as other fields like 'run': I've never made it without biting... Ask Mr. Owl.
