    hah, yes. Love the Red October reference. Great stuff.

    Also, really digging the possibilities that Ontario is bringing forth. If the die is small enough, they could even start thinking about handsets with the .5W clocking. I wouldn't be surprised at this, since Intel is also looking at getting Atom into handsets.

    AMD has said repeatedly that netbooks in and of themselves are not particularly appealing via their marketing data, plus, the atom is so entrenched in that market, but, touch computing products like the Ipad, now, that is an untapped market that I would love to see AMD get into. In part, I hope that is where they are headed with Bobcat specifically.

    We deserve an Ipad that is more than a play thing.

    I am excited to see what Llano does, but I am far more excited to see what Bobcat (Ontaro) and Bulldozer (Zambezi) do in the market. These are radical architectures that are quite unlike any offerings we have seen to date... They are different and ambitious, and I like that.
