I cannot delete a message in outbox from Outlook 2003

Hello,

I am writing as I need some help with deleting a message of high dimensions that is stuck in the outbox section of the outlook program.

I tried to use the Delete button on the keyboard, the delete option from the Edit section but I get the error that the message can't be deleted as the program has started sending the message. It's been 2 days since the program is trying to send it ... i get no message that it can't be sent and i can't delete it.

Can you please help me?

    drag it from your outbox to drafts then delete it.

    hello,

    thanks for answering. I tried first with "move to" and then I tried with dragging the message to drafts. Unfortuantely it does not work.

    do you have other suggestions?

    Go into file then set it to work offline. Then restart outlook. Then try and shift+delete it, if that doesn't work try the move to drafts and then shift+delete method again.

    If that doesn't work you could have a corrupted mail store. Is this on a personal computer or are you in a work environment connected to an exchange server?
