There have been "ways" to get memtest on USB but it was a PAIN. I am downloading the USB installer now to test it. Stay tuned.

I always downloaded the USB version (which they have had a long time).

It was just an EXE file. I made by key bootable, created Autoexec, and ran the EXE.

Have I mentioned I know the guy who wrote memtest86? He's the dad of one of my friends. Very cool guy.

Memtest on USB will be much easier to use, it's too much trouble to make a floppy disk anymore.

I'll use Memtest more often as a result.

I have been using Memtest on a USB bootable flash disk since a long time. I was copying the tiny DOS executable in the bootable flash disk. Copying the exe file is easier than using the usb utility, if I already have the bootable disk. They say exe file is obsolete but I hope they keep supporting it.
