i7-975 better than i7-930 for extra $294.00

diving into the deep end and do a build. i am buying a prebuiilt custom.. I know build it myself but the reality is the parts added together would cost more at newegg.

so can you help out the newbie on these questions

1. is it worth it to upgrade from 930 to 975 extreme for 275.00 extra bucks.

2. or better off upgrading from a ati 5850 to 5870

system will be the x58 gigabyte ud7 motherboard
6g ram corsair
two raid config 0 each 1T
cooling by Thor

or can u suggest good water cooling system

case is cool master storm sniper

    Get the 5870, overclock the 930. It'll be easier than you can possibly believe. I'll help you do it. :)

    suggestions on water cooling on a gigabyte ud7 board.. i am tottally lost on that.. searched and read.. arg... swiftech?
