i have just do an icrontic account but i don't understand how upload my image.. someone can help me? how can ? i don't find the buttom's upload... copy and paste? (sorry for my englesh i now it's terrible!)
Its so damn easy to write a program that will do this for you!
It just loads a big picture
Loads small pictures and reduces them to 32x32
calculate its average color of every 16x16 block on the smaller pics.
Look at every 32x32 block on the big picture and calculate the average color of every 16x16 block.
Compare 32x32 block of the big picture to every smaller one.
Find a closest match.
Put it in place.
For a 5760x1080 picture there are 18,680,625 operations per avatar. for 1000 avatars the program would execute in 1,5567875 seconds on a X4 3.0 GHz processor.
All numbers are approximations.
I still wouldnt put something so pixelated as my background, ya gettin it Krab? Try makin' it smoother, im sure it would look EPIC!
Smooth? Alrighty then, smooth it is! (More avatars, 132 of em'. If I missed you at this point, I'm sorry)
ok damn i never paid concentration we actually had to post the entries here!! EFF

So you have to be careful about that stuff.

That's what I could find on the licensing. It seems like you are allowed to create derivative works from those source files.
