    So is it gonna be like the fast paced action of days long past or more like this recent load of manure we've been getting?

    So what I'm getting here is that they're making a Sonic game... that plays more like a Mega Man game... I fear the days of fun with the blue hedgehog are but a mere memory.

    @ardichoke: That's pretty much exactly the same vibe I was getting. Kind of a Sonic/Megaman vibe. I like the idea of a 2.5d game with special powerups, though. The Sonic franchise is always evolving, though I'm not convinced it's in the best direction.

    Still, I'm very intrigued by the game idea. I'll probably at least rent it.
