Hi,

Please post here if you intend to particepate in the UT2k4 at EPIC 2010.

Also, in your post please include your favorite map for Deathmatch, Bombing Run, and Base Capture.

    I'll be interested in participating but I haven't actually played in years so I don't remember any map names. I'll have to wear off the rust this month.

    EDIT: Torlan is definitely a must for maps.

    Myrmidons do it all Greecey.

    Maps:
    Icefields (Bombing Run)
    Joust (Capture the flag - ESPECIALLY if we do this one instagib. In b4 "Fuck you, Myrmidon")
    As for deathmatch, beats me - I never really played any!

    In if someone has a disc we can pass around like we did in 08. I hope for another match with the soccer-like mode where the score was still 0 - 0 after 2 hours when the server crashed and everyone cheered.

    ah, it's on Steam... however considering the amount of money I've budgeted for Epic I'm not sure I'll pick this up right now. So don't count me as a definite participant for this turny.

    Maps by popularity (not considering game type) The order of the listing is pretty much consistent with what I remember liking. I haven't played in a long time, but going based on that info, and my preferences, for deathmatches, I'd say the map pool should at least include:

    ** DM-Rankin-FE
    DM-DE-Grendelkeep
    ** DM-Campgrounds2004-G1E
    DM-DE-Ironic
    DM-Compressed
    DM-Goose2k4
    DM-Goliath
    DM-Antalus
    DM-Asbestos
    DM-Deck17

    ** - versions of map widely accepted to fix/improve original map

    I don't have any suggestions for the other game types.

    This site has useful info on maps.

    Its on sale now for 7.49, a total no brainer the game is still fun.
