    Usually people share power strips to minimize daisy-chaining and this year we actually have a few extras thanks to Q, but I think Ryder's point was simply that you shouldn't be bringing non-essential peripherals that draw power.

    Power strips for chargers, etc. Netbooks are fine. Point was: NO SPEAKERS. This has been a rule since the very beginning. It was just worded awkwardly.
