Seriously? 300 was a pile of steaming fecal matter. That speech, and the one in the trailer, was cheese on top of cheese. The whole unsophisticated film that was 300 operated on the level of adolescent he-man posturing. On top of that, 300 was homophobic (ironic considering its latent homoeroticism), Orientalist, and completely unimaginative. I have squeezed out material with my anal sphincter that was more dignified and finely crafted than that trash.
That said, videogames have never been known generally for their quality writing, since developers almost never hire good writers. So maybe the game will still be good anyway. E.g. Rome: Total War and the super cheesy speeches that generals give to the troops.
