.part File that won't go away

Hi,
a few weeks ago I tried to download a file but the download got interrupted and never finished so I went and deleted the file and the part file but the icon for the part file stayed and every time I try to delete it it keeps saying that it can't find the file. I've tried everything. I've tried to delete it in command line, in safe mode and with killbox but nothing works. It won't even let me rename, move or archive the file so I'm not quite sure how to get rid of it.

Any ideas?

    Try a program called unlocker. If you're using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, right click the installer and run as administrator to install it.
