Suddenly for reasons I can't seem to understand, windows 7 will not allow me to save files to my desktop? I figure its probably something pretty stupid that I am missing, but I can't figure it out?

Ideas?

    No luck with that one.

I'm betting I did something knuckleheaded to warp a registry setting.

    haHA, Wind0wn3d!

Have you checked the permissions on your Desktop folder? I'm betting that they're set to Read Only for some reason./

Yeah, I did think of that, and nope, permissions for the desktop folder is not the problem. Its really bizarre, I mean, it almost does not matter, I do kind of like to keep the desktop clean, but its just irritating that I don't understand the source of the problem. Its a geek thing... LOL.
