Slipstreaming

edited June 2010 in Hardware
Based on the Artikel Slipstreaming Windows XP, I have tried to build a CD with Windows 2000 SP4 and a driver from the mentioned repository to run W2k on a vostro 1310. However, when trying to boot the vostro from the w2k disk it gave me the error "iaStor.sys" damaged. I used nLite to prepare the disk.
Can anybody tell what went wrong and how to fix it.

thanks.:)

AFAIK, nLite works identically with Windows XP and Windows 2000.

An iaStor error might mean that the wrong driver was used.
