I had no idea the backstory for TF2 had any depth. That is so cool. If Valve is ever looking for someone to write the TF2 companion novel, I'll be sending them some writing samples. I would have so much fun with a project like that.

DOEEET!
If you are not familiar with the rest of the backstory, go here and read everything, paying special attention to the "Major Updates" on the right side of the blog. Then maybe email a sample of your idea to Robin Walker Here.

That was so awesome. I love the art style of these.
Anyone notice the dates on the bluprint on the last page? July 17th, August 3rd, April 14th. The July/August dates could be possible update release dates.

Ho man, the Engi's Grandpappy built three life extenders! (noticed after a look at the aforementioned dates)
Fun details:
Slide 05 shows the Highlander
Apparently Dell was hired in 1950
The Aussie females have huge moustaches
Also, my most clever observation that probably all of you have already made:
The life extender machine cover page shows that it was built for a third person but their name is out of the frame. Can we assume it is the female with the Australian elements?
Edit: A little Googling reveals to me that the world, and probably all of you, are well aware of all of these things. More so, there is an entire story backing TF2 with tons of characters and tie ins. I was out of the loop, for shame . On a positive note, this is all awesome!
