I'm going to finally paint my case. Any ideas on the color. I'm going for a military theme or the colors of my police department.

A the time when I bought this system I just wanted to get it working. But yes I was planing on improving the wire management.
If I can only find I place that has strobe lights.

WOW doing it all the way down to bare metal!!! :hair: I'm too lazy for that, usually hit it with a vibrator sander to break the surface finish and smooth out any other imperfections.

This is going to be a good one......remember to post pix!

    Well here is an update,
I used the following to remove the paint

    : savogran heavy duty stripper

: 100 grit sand paper & hand sander

On my off days this week I'll apply the primer

: for metal SEM self etching primer

: for plastic rust_oleum self etching primer

If someone could tell me where I might get a 20x20 sheet of uv orange acrylic.

    Stay tuned

If you're still looking for Strobes, have you tried SpeedTech Lights? They have a wide range of 12V LED strobes, should be possible to rig to a system easily enough. Possibly could use just the Grand Control controller/switchbox and off the shelf LEDs?

Oh, yes, for the acrylic, try McMaster Carr - http://www.mcmaster.com/#cast-acrylic-sheets/=83sp49

Nice results on the camo!!! So what do you need a sheet of metal for in the same breath as window?? Or is that going to be the side panel you cut the window into??

Instead of a Plexiglas window I'm using a piece of patch steel that looks rough with a few bullet wholes.
