I have no idea what this really could be. Remember Mega Man Soccer? The Mega Man genre can really be a wild card, when you come to think of it. If it's really some fighting/party game like Smash Bros, I honestly will be thrilled as long as it's fun and true to its roots.
However, if it's something along the lines of the following...
...I will seriously shit bricks. Maybe literally. A modern-graphics twist on the classic Mega Man game formula with intense graphics and art direction like the scene depicted above by artist Mikael Aguirre would really make me die happy.
I know the retro 8-bit games are nice and all, but THIS is what I REALLY want. Strangely enough.
