The question is... are the games any good? I assume no because most games based off TV shows or movies are crap.
I'm about halfway through the first one, and it's not bad. They've put a good amount of work into having a good story, and the graphics are pretty decent, but aren't very taxing on the system even at max settings. The controls can be a bit frustrating at times but it's really a minor complaint. As a standalone game, it's fine (especially for the price). As an extension of the Doctor Who universe it's a pretty good effort. I'd say the team put more effort into making this a good game for fans than most of the "movie games" out there.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
1. It's not a difficult or complex game
2. Each episode is only supposed to take two hours
3. The target audience is Doctor Who fans.
If you're not familiar with Doctor Who, I'd recommend watching some episodes. I believe Netflix has the first four or five seasons since the 2005 revival. It's a great series, and the games seem to fit well.
Oh, believe me, I'm familiar with Doctor Who. Well... the newer series anyway. I've never watched the original series. I was quite obsessed with Doctor Who and Torchwood for a while last year. Ran out of content to watch though =/

Yeah. I run into that problem a lot.
