just raided harddrives, windows will not install...missing driver?

edited August 2010 in Science & Tech
i just formatted my pc, so i am trying to set it back up with raid0. I have identical harddrives and a 780i mobo. I go through the installation without a problem (anymore) and it gets to the screen where it says that it is starting the setup for windows or whatever. then i get the BSOD and gives me the code- STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x0....etc) I've done a little research on what this means, but I don't really understand what to do. School starts back up in a week, so I'm running out of time!

set it up without raid 0. You aren't gaining anything significant and are possibly risking much.

as I've said many time.... RAID 0: RAID without the Redundancy, because everyone likes AIDs right?

I agree with the above posters. RAID0's benefits (very marginal) are not worth the 100% guaranteed data loss if something goes wrong.

advice taken- no raid 0 for me. i kept trying and trying, but soon realized that it won't be worth it. my computer will still be fast enough for what i need it for, so why bother? it just bugs me that i couldn't figure out what the problem was. oh well. we're up and running now with dual hard drives. Let the glorious process of downloading drivers begin..... : /
